back in the sewing game!

My sister-in-law has 2 little boys (22 and 2 months), after having her second she wanted a new boppy cover but has a hard time finding cute boy patterns, at least ones she doesn't already have. She asked if I'd be interested in trying my hand at making one. With some fear and trembling I sure sure, haha. I found a great guide on how to make a boppy cover, pattern and all! I will warn you that when you print it out it takes about 14 pieces of paper, so be sure it is something you want to do. It was pretty simple to follow. The one change I made was to use velcro rather than a zipper, because of that I had to re-cut a larger top piece for the zipper section so that there would be overlap. I also added the strap in the back to make the pillow stay up. I'm anxious to get it to my sister-in-law so she can see how it fits her boppy!

this is usually what happens when I lay things out to take a pictre.

  2. I was so relieved that it fit! It is a pretty easy project, now that I've been through it once and know what I'm doing, lol.
